Every FRT-15, FRT-15L3, FRT-15C3, FRT-MR3, and other trigger that ships from our warehouse has passed the manufacturer’s function check and is packaged in original condition.

RETURN ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for a return, your Rare Breed Triggers product must meet all of the following conditions:

  • Unopened and unused — The product must be in its original factory packaging, sealed and uninstalled
  • Photographic proof required — You must provide a clear photo of the unopened product prior to authorization
  • Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) obtained — All returns require prior approval via our support team before shipping anything back
  • Initiated within the eligible window — Contact us within 30 days of your delivery date to initiate a return
  • Original purchase from raresbreedtriggers.com — We can only process returns for purchases made directly through our store

⚠ Important

Installed, used, or modified Rare Breed Triggers FRT units are not eligible for return. Once a trigger has been removed from its original packaging and installed into a firearm, it is considered used regardless of round count. Please confirm your firearm compatibility before installation. Our support team is available to help you verify fitment before you install.

THE RETURN PROCESS

Returning a Rare Breed Triggers product is straightforward when you follow these steps in order. Do not ship any product back without first receiving an RMA number — unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Reach out via our contact page with your order number, the product in question, and a clear photo of the unopened item in its original packaging.

Receive Your RMA

Our team will review your request and issue an RMA number if the return meets eligibility requirements. This number must be clearly marked on your return shipment.

Ship It Back

Pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship to the address provided in your RMA confirmation. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund or exchange within the timeline outlined below. Track your return shipment — we are not responsible for items lost in transit without tracking confirmation.

Before initiating a return, verify that your compatibility issue isn’t something our support team can resolve. Many FRT-15L3 cycling concerns are resolved with a simple BCG or buffer swap. Contact us first — we may save you a return entirely.

REFUND PROCESSING

Once your returned Rare Breed Triggers product has been received and inspected, we will notify you by email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method only — no cash, store credit substitutions, or third-party transfers
  • Processing time: Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned item
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable in all cases
  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility and will not be reimbursed unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, manufacturing defect)
  • Partial refunds may be issued at our discretion in cases where the product shows signs of handling inconsistent with the stated “unopened” condition

If your refund does not appear within 10 business days of approval notification, first check with your bank or card issuer — processing delays on their end can add 2–5 additional business days. If you still have concerns, contact our support team with your RMA number and we’ll investigate promptly.

⚠ Fraud Policy

Raresbreedtriggers.com reserves the right to deny returns in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or where the product does not match the description provided in the return request. Providing false information to obtain a refund may result in the cancellation of your account and referral to appropriate authorities.

WARRANTY CLAIMS

All Rare Breed Triggers products sold through raresbreedtriggers.com are covered by a limited manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. This is in addition to, not a replacement for, your statutory consumer rights.

What is covered:

  • Manufacturing defects in the trigger housing, internal components, springs, and hardware
  • Functional failures that occur under normal, intended use with a compatible firearm setup
  • Documented material defects that are present at the time of purchase

What is NOT covered:

  • Damage from misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidental damage
  • Damage resulting from improper installation — including installation without a full-auto BCG or incompatible buffer
  • Modification of any internal or external components
  • Normal wear and tear from extended use
  • Damage caused by use of incorrect ammunition or incompatible components
  • Any product that has been disassembled beyond normal installation procedure

To initiate a warranty claim, contact our support team with your order number, a description of the issue, and supporting photos or video if possible. We will coordinate the review and resolution process with you directly.

WRONG ITEM OR DAMAGED SHIPMENT

If your Rare Breed Triggers order arrives damaged in transit, or if you received the wrong product, we will resolve the issue at no cost to you — including covering return shipping in these specific circumstances.

To report a damaged or incorrect shipment:

  • Document the damage or incorrect item with clear photographs before opening the packaging further
  • Contact our support team within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos
  • Do not install or attempt to use a damaged product — this may void your claim
  • We will arrange a prepaid return label and ship the correct replacement at no additional charge

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items and circumstances are categorically excluded from our return and refund policy:

  • Installed or used triggers — any FRT-15, FRT-15C3, FRT-MR3, or other unit that has been removed from original packaging and installed
  • Items returned without an RMA number — unauthorized returns will be refused at our receiving facility
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery — outside the eligible return window
  • Items damaged through misuse or improper installation — this includes damage from incorrect BCG or buffer selection
  • Clearance or final-sale items — if specifically designated as non-returnable at time of purchase
  • Orders placed to restricted states that were shipped in error — see Restricted State Orders section below

RESTRICTED STATE ORDERS

Rare Breed Triggers FRT products are restricted in certain states due to applicable state laws. Raresbreedtriggers.com does not ship forced reset triggers to the following locations:

  • California (CA) · Connecticut (CT) · Delaware (DE) · Hawaii (HI)
  • Illinois (IL) · Massachusetts (MA) · Maryland (MD) · New Jersey (NJ)
  • New York (NY) · Oregon (OR) · Rhode Island (RI) · Washington (WA)
  • Washington D.C.

Orders placed with a shipping address in any of these restricted locations will be canceled and fully refunded — including original shipping costs — as soon as the restricted destination is identified. No exceptions are made for law enforcement officers or FFL holders in restricted states.
